RCIA : The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), or Ordo Initiationis Christianae Adultorum is a process developed by the Catholic Church for prospective converts to Catholicism who are above the age of infant baptism. Candidates are gradually introduced to aspects of Catholic beliefs and practices

During the course of RCIA, you’ll have weekly classes covering basic Christianity and Bible from a Catholic point of view, and a broad spectrum of Catholic theology and practice. There will be opportunities to participate in different rites along the way; these are an important part of the process.

Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish RCIA Class will begin on Monday, September 21st at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center.

If God has tapped you on the shoulder and pointed you toward the Catholic Church now is the time to make your move. We are accepting applications now for fall classes.

If you know of anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about the faith please have them call the Rectory at (716) 683-2375-for more information.
