November 28 @ 12:00 am

The holiday should be special for everyone.  With the cold weather upon us, many of us take for granted that we have a warm pair of mittens, socks, or slippers to keep us warm, a hat or a scarf to protect us in the bitter cold.  However, not everyone is as fortunate as we are.  There are those who don’t have things to keep warm.  This year the Parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus and members of our Altar Rosary Society are once again here to help those less fortunate.  We are asking Parishioners to please bring anew hat, scarves, gloves, socks and slippers to warm a needy person this winter.  Place them under our Angel Tree and take a candy cane or angel home as a reminder of the good work you did in the Name of Jesus for your neighbor.  Our Angel Tree of Warmth and hope will be displayed for the first three weeks of Advent, Saturday, November 27th through Sunday, December 12th.  Thank you in advance for all your help!
